Staff Engineer

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Test Equipment Control and Maintenance - To establish the tester capability and maintain tester functionality and software revision.

• To fully understand the necessary controls tester maintenance precautions setup parameters to meet the product specification.

• Responsible for transfer and qualification of test equipment and requirements for new products..

• Ensure all test hardware & equipment operating at optimal level and minimize test equipment down time

• Responsible for the periodic preventive maintenance of test equipment.

• Evaluate test equipment and hardware sets equipment control/verification specifications and qualify related tests and recommend to improve the process / production.

• Responsible for test time reduction process simplification and elimination tester reliability enhancement equipment conversion simplification/elimination minimizing over rejection on tester improve performance of tester etc.

• Responsible to conduct gage repeatability & reliability studies correlation studies as well as actions to improve both these capabilities of the tester.

• Test process simplification/elimination test time reduction equipment conversion simplification.

• Communication skill to communicate and interface well with peers enhance teamwork

• Emotional intelligence

• Performing any other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time.

• Practice Risk Base Thinking in planning and execution of task.

• Compliance to ISO Requirements company rules & regulations applicable codes etc.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor of Science/Engineering in Electrical/Electronics Computer Engineering/Computer Science

• At least 6 year of Equipment Maintenance/Testing experience & testing methodologies. Candidates without appropriate experience may be accepted by the hiring manager subject to job nature availability of buddy duration of learning etc.

• With good computer literacy good communication skill and reporting of information/data. Strong interest in computer hardware engineering.

• Experience configuring and troubleshooting a wide range of desktop software and components.

• Experience in equipments Total Control Methodology.
