Software Engineer I (Contract)

Our Platform Services Engineering team builds and maintains cloud-based applications RESTful APIs and shared services that power Experian Software Solutions products.

As a Software Engineer I you will contribute to the development and support of scalable backend services and user-facing applications. Working closely with Product UX Architecture and Engineering teams you will help build secure reliable and high-quality software solutions while growing your technical expertise across modern cloud technologies and software development practices.

What Youll Be Doing

• Develop and maintain responsive user interfaces using and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Collaborate with UX designers to implement intuitive and accessible designs.
• Work with tools such as Git Jenkins Jira BitBucket and Confluence
• This role will be reporting to the Software Engineering Manager
• This is a hybrid position requiring attendance in the office 2-3 days per week with the flexibility to work remotely on other days.

Qualifications :

What Were Looking for

• 02 years of software development experience (or equivalent experience through internships academic projects or bootcamps)
• Design develop test and deploy software using technologies such as Java or JavaScript AWS and framework exposure such as SpringBoot React Angular is a plus.
• Understanding of software engineering principles and object-oriented programming
• Exposure to databases APIs and application development concepts
• Basic knowledge of version control systems (e.g. Git) and CI/CD practices
