Service Engineer

Purpose of role: 

This role is a full fledge Service Engineer support the business in Bintulu for MRP contracts and transactional sale. This role will be based in Bintulu.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Expertise: Perform seal refurbishment work provide inspection report and handle full workflow process. Withdraw the stock from inventory and maintain and manage inventory.

Field Service & Support: Perform on-site installation removal troubleshooting repair and commissioning of mechanical seals and support systems.

Customer Interaction: Build rapport provide training on product usage and assist the sales team with technical discussions.

Maintenance & Repair: Maintain service center building and equipment in a clean and efficient state ensuring repair jobs meet quality standards.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all Health Safety and Environmental (QHSE) procedures and company policies. 

Key Accountabilities:

Cares for the environmental health and safety of self and others.

Achieving service operations KPIs

Follows workplace procedures workflow and instructions at all time.

Maintains 5S in workplace tools equipment and facilities to be safe condition and always aware working with safe action.

Identifies and reports unsafe unhealthy or hazardous working conditions.

Use personal protective equipment as required.

Does not engage in practical jokes that could harm the health or safety of another person.

Must be punctual and full of discipline.

Key Metrics:

Ontime Training completion.

Urgency dateline.

Report accuracy and dateline.

Qualifications :

Education:

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Experience:

More than 5 years working experienced related to rotating equipment pump and compressor.

More than 3 years of exposure to oil and gas power industry.

Technical Skills:

Possess literacy of computer software i.e. Microsoft Office

SAP will be highly appropriate.

English communication for basic intermediate level for reading written listening and speaking.

Additional Information :

This position for potential candidate who domicile at Jakarta Indonesia and the role will be for 6 months contract duration.
