Job Summary

Founded in 2011 the company is a licensed Private Equity Management firm regulated by the Securities Commission Malaysia across Asia.

The firm is supported by a team of experienced investment professionals and operates in a fast-paced performance-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

Investment Analysis and Evaluation
  • Conduct comprehensive due diligence on potential investment opportunities including financial statement analysis market research and risk assessment.
  • Assess the financial viability and strategic alignment of prospective investments against established investment criteria and mandates.
  • Develop detailed financial models and perform scenario analysis to evaluate potential returns risks and investment outcomes.
  • Prepare investment memorandums and presentations for senior management and investment committees presenting key findings analysis and recommendations.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing investments by reviewing financial metrics market trends and industry developments.
  • Work closely with internal teams external advisors and key stakeholders to support investment evaluation and decision-making.
  • Regularly review and enhance investment valuation methodologies and financial models to ensure accuracy and relevance.
Fund Administarion and Operations
  • Coordinate fund administration activities with external service providers including fund administrators custodians and legal counsel.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely processing of fund-related transactions including subscriptions redemptions and capital calls.
  • Maintain and manage fund documentation including legal agreements Information Memorandums Limited Partnership Agreements Subscription Agreements and other relevant documents.
  • Prepare and distribute periodic financial statements fund performance reports and investor communications to key stakeholders.
  • Monitor fund expenses management fees cash flows and related financial activities to support efficient fund operations and performance.
  • Work closely with internal teams external auditors and regulatory bodies to facilitate fund audits reviews and regulatory inspections.
Investor Relations and Fundraising
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective investors through proactive communication and engagement.
  • Coordinate investor meetings conference calls roadshows and events while supporting the preparation of investor presentations and related materials.
  • Address investor enquiries and information requests promptly ensuring a high standard of service and professionalism.
  • Provide regular updates to investors on fund performance investment activities portfolio developments and relevant market trends.
  • Support the development and implementation of investor communication initiatives including newsletters website content presentations and social media materials.
  • Participate in fundraising and business development activities including investor pitch sessions roadshows conferences and other initiatives to expand the firms investor base.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive investor information financial data and communications.
  • Undertake other ad hoc assignments and responsibilities as directed by the Board of Directors and Management.


Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related discipline. CFA Level 1 or other relevant professional qualifications will be an added advantage.
  • 35 years of relevant experience in investment analysis private equity corporate finance asset management or related financial services.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements valuation techniques investment principles and financial analysis.
  • Strong financial modelling and advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Proficiency in PowerPoint and financial research platforms such as Bloomberg would be an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical problem-solving and critical thinking skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate and present investment analysis and recommendations.
  • Proactive self-driven and able to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.



Required Skills:

- Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting Economics or a related field. A CFA Level 1 or other relevant certification is an advantage. - 34 years of relevant experience in investment analysis private equity corporate finance asset management or related financial services. - Proficiency in PowerPoint
