Senior Cloud Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Design implement and maintain security controls across AWS cloud environments
• Secure AWS services including IAM EC2 VPC S3 RDS EKS Lambda CloudTrail and GuardDuty
• Establish and maintain cloud security architecture standards guardrails and best practices
• Conduct cloud security risk assessments configuration reviews and security posture evaluations
• Monitor cloud environments for threats suspicious activities and configuration deviations
• Support investigations and remediation of security incidents involving cloud resources and workloads
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure secure cloud deployments and compliance with security requirements
• Support regulatory audits cloud security assessments and third-party security reviews

Person Specifications

• 4 years of relevant experience in cloud security cybersecurity or cloud infrastructure security
• Strong knowledge of AWS security services cloud security architecture and the AWS Well-Architected Framework
• Hands-on experience with AWS IAM networking compute storage databases containers and security monitoring services
• Familiarity with Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) security configuration reviews risk assessments and threat monitoring
• Understanding of cloud security best practices compliance requirements and incident response
• Strong analytical problem-solving documentation and stakeholder collaboration skills
• Relevant AWS or cloud security certifications are advantageous
