Prudential Plc issues a significant number of financial products all of which involve an underlying exposure to investments both from the perspective of generating returns in line with policyholder expectations and matching any guarantees.
The Group Recharge team within Group Finance governs intercompany recharges across Central Entities and LBUs covering contract lifecycle management recharge billing/settlement and GHO Fee Transfer Pricing (TP) calculations ensuring accuracy auditability and timely execution of recurring annual cycles.
Principal Accountabilities:
Pillar A Intercompany Recharges: Contracting & Governance
- Own BAU SOW/contract inventory trackers and Coupa data integrity to support execution and management reporting.
- Partner with Business Contract Owners to drive end-to-end contract renewals (drafting addenda CRA e-signing via Adobe Sign).
- Coordinate across LBUs Procurement CoS Risk/TPRM and Group SMEs to unblock CRA and signing timelines ahead of GEC escalation deadlines.
- Strengthen controls: standardise tracking document turnaround milestones establish response SLAs deliver weekly senior management updates.
Pillar B Group Head Office (GHO) Service Fee Transfer Pricing Calculations & Governance
- Own end-to-end GHO TP process annual cycle execution and data readiness.
- Develop and maintain BPM/SOP; drive process improvements (policy manual template revamp automation twice-yearly cost centre-owner cadence).
- Serve as the operational point of contact for GHO TP matters on behalf of the Recharge team.
Pillar C LBU Engagement (Quarterly Cadence)
- Quarterly LBU engagement cadence with Central Entities counterparts on recharge status contract execution billing/settlement and disputes
- Synthesise BU feedback into thematic summaries for Group Finance leadership / RCEO and Board updates
- Resolution of recurring queries/disputes via coordination with Procurement CoS Risk/TPRM and service-provider owners
- Maintain quarterly engagement pack and act as operational liaison between Group Recharge team and LBU finance teams
Core Competences Required:
- Technical: Intercompany recharges contract lifecycle management and Transfer Pricing operations; SOW/CRA workflows and e-signing tools; Excel modelling and SOP/BPM authoring; Coupa or equivalent procurement systems; control design (SLAs governance reporting audit-ready documentation).
- Soft Skills: Strong stakeholder management across LBUs and Group functions; customer-service orientation under high-volume multi-time-zone conditions; clear written and verbal communication for senior management; detail-oriented and deadline-disciplined; process-improvement mindset.
Education and Experience:
- Experience: 68 years in finance operations intercompany / transfer pricing contract governance or shared services within a multinational financial services environment.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business Law or related discipline.
- Qualifications: Professional accounting qualification (ACCA CPA CA CIMA MICPA) preferred; insurance / asset management or Group HO shared services exposure an advantage.
