Lifting Engineer

Work Location: Miri/Bintulu

Contract Duration: 1 year

Qualification:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant engineering and commissioning experience including at least 5 years in a similar position.

Professional skill

• Strong knowledge of structural engineering offshore lifting operations and lifting analysis.
• Proficient in interpreting structural drawings and preparing engineering calculations and verifications.
• Familiar with offshore hook-up and commissioning activities.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and technical coordination skills.

Responsibility

• Perform structural design analysis and engineering calculations for offshore lifting operations.
• Review structural drawings structural cutting plans and lifting analyses to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Establish soft mooring parameters and verify gangway procedures.
• Prepare job cards work packs and other engineering documentation for Hook-Up and Commissioning (HUC) activities.
• Provide engineering support and perform fieldwork during HUC execution.
• Ensure all lifting and structural engineering activities comply with applicable project specifications company standards and safety requirements.
