Debug Technician

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

1. To assist the product engineer in terms of product family in achieving yield target; scrap cost target debug accuracy target & lean projects eval.
2. Support for PE evaluations projects and analysis BOM cost improvements evaluations (over temp) Test time reduction projects Prime Yield improvement Spec file verifications / qualifications (include Partest) and Support and confirm OBA failure and analysis.
3. ROHS debug and failure analysis.
4. Real Time debug debug findings reports.
5. Improvement in debug accuracy through training with PE buddy (Rwk NTF accuracy; retest reduction opportunities). Scrap Cost Monitoring by Product.
6. Ensure compliance to Safety ESD Cleanroom and Housekeeping guidelines. Able to work with minimum supervision.
7. Performing any other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time.
8. Derive Continual Improvement.
9. Practice Risk Base Thinking in planning and execution of task.
10. Compliance to ISO Requirements company rules & regulations applicable codes etc.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. At least 2 year experience in optical device testing/repair related industry and in mass production environment.
2. Familiar with basic knowledge and principle of optical devices.
3. Candidates without appropriate experience may be accepted by the hiring manager subject to job nature availability of buddy duration of learning etc
   

SKILL:

1. With good computer literacy good communication skill and reporting of information/ data
2. Familiar with circuit diagrams and a strong background in Electronics
3. Familiarity with test instruments (Spectrum Analyzers Oscilloscopes etc.)
4. Experience in troubleshooting PCBA preferred.
5. Can work independently and work with support teams as needed.
6. Has basic knowledge of optical circuit circuit analysis problem solving and master the use of optical module test instruments.

Working Conditions:

• This role is 100% onsite (Ipoh) and may require supporting Penang.
