Civil Engineer

Work Location: Miri / Bintulu

Contract Duration: 12 months

Qualification:

• Recognised Degree in Civil Structural or a relevant Engineering discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in the oil and gas industry including at least 3 years in a similar position.
• Must be a Professional Engineer registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) or an equivalent internationally recognised professional engineering institution.
• Experience in engineering and design of offshore topside facilities is required.

Responsibility

• Lead and coordinate civil and structural engineering activities to ensure compliance with project requirements specifications and applicable standards.
• Perform detailed civil and structural engineering design for onshore and offshore oil and gas facilities.
• Prepare and review engineering calculations design specifications and process safety reports as required.
• Ensure all engineering deliverables comply with applicable codes standards and project requirements.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure effective integration of design activities.
• Provide technical support and resolve civil and structural engineering issues throughout project execution.

Professional skill

• Strong knowledge of civil and structural engineering design for oil and gas facilities.
• Proficient in engineering calculations design specifications and technical documentation.
• Familiar with applicable engineering codes industry standards and process safety requirements.
• Strong technical problem-solving coordination and communication skills.
