Job Summary
The Assistant Chief Engineer is responsible for overseeing the safe efficient and continuous operation of the hotels engineering systems including electrical mechanical plumbing HVAC and Building Management Systems (BMS). This role provides hands-on leadership in hotel-wide engineering operations preventive and corrective maintenance and team supervision. The position ensures that all engineering activities comply with applicable Malaysian regulatory requirements hotel standards safety procedures and operational requirements while supporting a seamless guest experience and the efficient day-to-day operation of the hotel.
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience in hotel engineering operations including at least 3 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Strong knowledge of hotel engineering systems including electrical HVAC plumbing building automation fire protection systems and applicable Malaysian engineering regulations.
- Strong leadership communication and problem-solving skills with good proficiency in engineering-related software and Microsoft Office applications.
