So what are the main responsibilities of a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Specialist in Netcompany 

As a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Specialist you will:

• Administer maintain and support Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) and Terminal Server environments ensuring high availability performance and security for end users across the institution.
• Manage and contribute to the lifecycle of standard workplace configurations including the deployment maintenance testing and continuous improvement of desktop and virtual desktop solutions.
• Design package test and deploy applications using MSI packaging App-V and other application virtualization and distribution technologies in accordance with institutional standards.
• Provide technical expertise in remote computing architectures supporting the design integration and optimisation of virtual workplace and remote access solutions.
• Perform troubleshooting incident resolution and root-cause analysis related to VDI terminal services application delivery and end-user computing platforms.
• Collaborate with infrastructure security and operations teams to ensure compliance with the clients IT policies best practices and service management processes while contributing to modernization and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications :

What would make you a fit for the role: 

• University degree in Information Technology Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
• Full professional proficiency in English (minimum C1 level or equivalent) with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) design deployment administration troubleshooting and performance optimization.
• Proven hands-on experience with Citrix technologies including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (XenApp/XenDesktop) NetScaler (Citrix ADC) and associated virtualization and application delivery solutions.
• Extensive experience managing and supporting Windows standard configurations endpoint management and desktop operating environments.
• Solid knowledge of Windows 11 Windows Server technologies and enterprise Microsoft infrastructure services.
• Practical experience working with Linux operating systems in enterprise environments.
• Demonstrated experience with cloud infrastructure platforms including Microsoft Azure Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Strong knowledge of VMware technologies including VMware ESXi vCenter and VMware Horizon for virtualization and virtual desktop delivery.
