Squad Lead

• Owns end-to-end delivery accountability across all squad workstreams and applications from technical architecture and Kanban flow through to production deployment.
• Manages cross-app dependencies leads the technical shift strategy and is the single project management interface with head of unit and senior management.
• Coaches the team drives continuous improvement and coordinate decisions with the Product Owner Technical Lead and QA Lead.

• University Degree at a related field
• 11 years of experience

• Experience in software engineering as a team lead or technical lead
• Hands-on background in Java and/or JavaScript / React development
• Strong working knowledge of Agile and Kanban including WIP management and flow metrics
• Experience managing technical migrations or platform shifts
• Solid grasp of CI/CD pipelines DevOps practices and release management
• Ability to translate technical complexity into clear business-level status and risk language
• Proven delivery accountability ownership of outcomes not just execution
