ServiceNow Technical Consultant

As a ServiceNow Technical Consultant at Devoteam you design configure and implement ServiceNow
solutions that translate business requirements into robust scalable technical configurations. You apply
ServiceNow best practices to decide when to configure out-of-the-box and when tailored customization
is required. Alongside hands-on delivery you mentor junior team members and proactively flag risks
dependencies and improvement opportunities within your scope of work.

Your key responsibilities

• Design configure and implement ServiceNow solutions according to business and functional requirements;
• Translate business needs into scalable technical configurations and detailed technical designs;
• Customize the platform when required following ServiceNow best practices and coding standards;
• Develop integrations with third-party systems (REST SOAP file-based transfers);
• Deliver well-documented thoroughly tested customizations including unit testing and structured testing approaches;
• Mentor and guide junior team members on both technical and functional topics;
• Proactively identify risks dependencies or improvement opportunities within your scope of work;
• Support platform upgrades and ongoing application maintenance.

Qualifications :

• 3 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow configuration and development; 
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow administration App Engine and customization practices;
• Proficiency in JavaScript Glide API business rules script includes and UI policies;
• Proven experience in unit testing and awareness of structured testing approaches;
• Comfortable with both "out-of-the-box" implementations and tailored customizations;
• Fluent in French and English;
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) required.

Must-have:

• ServiceNow platform administration;
• Flow Designer and Workflow Studio with knowledge of the legacy Workflow Editor;
• IntegrationHub and REST/SOAP API integrations;
• CMDB design and Discovery;
• Workspace configuration;
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA);
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist ITSM (CIS-ITSM).

Softskills: Customer-oriented Quality-driven Autonomous Proactive Mindset Adaptable Collaborative 

Nice-to-have:

• Experience with Service Portal Employee Center and Agent Workspace;
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS);
• Experience in greenfield implementations (from scratch);
• Familiarity with middleware integrations (MuleSoft Dell Boomi Kafka);
• Experience with AI on the ServiceNow platform (e.g. Now Assist Control Tower) is a plus.
