Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Fund Accountant to join a Central Administration team in Luxembourg.
In this role you will be responsible for the accounting and NAV oversight of complex investment structures primarily investing in Real Estate Infrastructure Private Debt and Private Equity.
You will ensure that all operations are processed accurately and within agreed deadlines in compliance with applicable accounting standards including Lux GAAP IFRS and/or US GAAP. You will also review the work performed by other members of the accounting team.
- Perform NAV calculations and NAV oversight including portfolio valuation bookings and investor activities.
- Review NAV calculations and identify potential accounting valuation or operational risks during reporting periods.
- Anticipate potential impacts on NAV calculations and transactions escalate issues and contribute to their resolution.
- Ensure accurate and timely accounting of transactions for complex alternative investment structures.
- Ensure compliance with applicable Lux GAAP IFRS and/or US GAAP accounting principles.
- Ensure that Custodian Depositary/Safekeeping and Transfer Agency requirements are properly applied and respected.
- Support client billing activities and liaise with key stakeholders regarding KPIs during reporting periods.
- Review and approve the work performed by fund accountants within offshore operations teams.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams external service providers and other stakeholders.
- Ensure agreed timelines and service quality standards are consistently met.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Fund Accounting ideally within financial services and alternative investment structures.
- Strong experience with Private Equity Real Estate Infrastructure and/or Private Debt funds.
- Strong knowledge of NAV calculation and oversight.
- Good knowledge of IFRS Lux GAAP and/or US GAAP.
- Ability to identify accounting and operational risks and escalate issues appropriately.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage several priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with various internal and external stakeholders.
- Good understanding of banking/fund industry operations and processes.
- Fluent French and English are mandatory.
- ACCA qualification or equivalent.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- Previous experience reviewing or supervising the work of other Fund Accountants.
- Experience working with international or offshore operational teams.

ACCOUNTANT USGAAP We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to oversee our financial audits and ensure compliance with US GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles). Key Responsibilities: Day-to-Day Accounting: Manage daily accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable general ledger entries bank reconciliations and expense tracking. Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly quarterly and annual financial reports ensuring compliance with GAAP standards. Record Maintenance: Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records receipts and documentation for all transactions. Budget Support: Assist with budgeting forecasting and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making. Compliance Assurance: Ensure financial practices comply with applicable local state and federal regulations. Process Improvement: Recommend improvements to accounting workflows tools and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy. Tax Support: Assist with preparation and organization of financial data for tax filings and work with external tax professionals as needed. Software Management: Use financial software such as QuickBooks Online to manage company accounts and generate reports. Internal Controls: Help implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and prevent financial discrepancies. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Accountant with a strong grasp of accounting principles and US GAAP. Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks Online and strong Excel skills. High attention to detail with excellent accuracy in record-keeping and reconciliation tasks. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective organizational and communication skills both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and reliably in a remote environment. Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field required; certification (e.g. CPA CB) is a plus. Experience in a startup or tech environment is advantageous but not required.
