DevOps Developer – Cloud & Developer Tools

Job Summary
As a DevOps Developer you will join a multidisciplinary team responsible for implementing maintaining and evolving cloud development platforms developer tooling and development environments used across the organization.
Leveraging your expertise in AWS Infrastructure as Code CI/CD automation software development and AI-powered development tools you will help drive innovation while ensuring reliability security and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Software Development
- Develop maintain and improve cloud-based services and developer tools.
- Write efficient reusable and maintainable code.
- Demonstrate code ownership through peer reviews quality controls and adherence to development best practices.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of services by identifying optimization opportunities.
- Develop and maintain unit and integration tests to improve solution quality and deployment confidence.
Automation & DevOps
- Design implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
- Automate deployment configuration monitoring and operational processes.
- Promote Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices to improve consistency and scalability.
- Contribute to DevOps best practices and platform engineering initiatives.
Collaboration
- Work closely with architects developers system administrators and security specialists to deliver integrated solutions.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning daily stand-ups retrospectives and reviews.
- Support knowledge-sharing activities and contribute to the teams collective expertise.
- Assist in driving adoption and usage of development tools and services.
Documentation & Support
- Produce and maintain technical documentation operational procedures and development guidelines.
- Ensure proper knowledge transfer and maintainability of solutions.
- Provide support and guidance to users of development platforms and tooling.
Qualifications :
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Software Development DevOps or Cloud Engineering.
- Experience working within Agile teams.
- Experience supporting cloud or developer platforms is an asset.
Technical Skills
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS.
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform AWS CDK.
- Git and GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- Python and TypeScript development.
- Knowledge of IT security principles.
- Experience with AI-powered developer tools such as Amazon Q Kiro Claude or similar solutions.
- Experience with AI agents and AI-enabled development environments.
- Familiarity with VS Code and IntelliJ.
- Knowledge of ITIL or IT Service Management practices.
Certifications
- AWS certifications are highly valued.
- ITIL Terraform or DevOps certifications are considered assets.

Education
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
Requirements
- Professional proficiency in English.
- Any additional European language is an asset.
