Were looking for an experienced BMC Helix Platform Administrator to support the administration maintenance and continuous improvement of an enterprise BMC Helix ITSM platform hosted on OpenShift.
This role is ideal for a senior infrastructure professional with strong experience in BMC Helix ITSM platforms OpenShift and automation who can ensure platform stability security and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Administration
Administer BMC Helix environments (Production Acceptance Development).
Manage platform configurations and technical settings.
Maintain technical and operational documentation.
Monitor licensing and compliance.
Manage deployment processes using Jenkins and related tools.
Drive continuous platform improvements.
Operations & Support
Provide advanced technical support.
Investigate and resolve complex incidents.
Participate in Problem Management and Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
Coordinate escalations with software vendors when required.
Monitoring & Performance
Monitor platform health and availability.
Analyse and optimise system performance.
Define and report technical KPIs and SLAs.
Support monitoring integrations.
Change & Release Management
Plan and execute patches hotfixes upgrades and migrations.
Validate releases before production deployment.
Security & Compliance
Apply platform security standards and hardening.
Manage technical accounts and access rights.
Support security audits and vulnerability remediation.
Backup & Disaster Recovery
Manage backup and restore procedures.
Participate in Disaster Recovery testing.
Ensure compliance with RPO and RTO objectives.
Integrations & Automation
Maintain and support integrations with:
Active Directory / LDAP
Monitoring solutions
CMDB platforms
REST APIs
Third-party ITSM tools
Required Skills
Expert knowledge of BMC Helix / BMC Remedy

Experience with platform upgrades migrations and lifecycle management.
Ability to work independently in a complex enterprise environment.
