Accounting Manager (Capital Markets)

Purpose of the job

Manage a portfolio of structured finance and debt clients delivering accurate accounting records complex financial statements and highquality management accounts. Youll review and guide junior team members oversee key reconciliations and reporting and ensure all client deliverables meet required standards and deadlines.

Main Responsibilities

• Lead accounting and administration for an allocated client portfolio
• Prepare final bookkeeping entries and complex financial statements (LUX GAAP / IFRS)
• Review reconciliations interim reporting distribution workings interest accruals
• Oversee VAT/TAX returns and regulatory reporting
• Coach and supervise Accountants and Junior Accountants
• Liaise with clients and auditors to ensure timely delivery
• Support the Manager with daily operations and team development
• Assist with budgets ad hoc tasks and crossjurisdictional accounting
• Maintain confidentiality and data integrity at all times

Qualifications :

Knowledge skills and experience

• Desirable: ACCA/ACA fully qualified or be suitably qualified by virtue of relevant experience
• Finance Industry and or Accounting/Auditing experience within or with exposure to Capital Market is desirable.
• Minimum of 4 years experience of preparing client accounts
• Comprehensive knowledge of IFRS. Knowledge of LUX GAAP and other relevant accounting frameworks is an advantage
• Ability to operate most accounting software
