Job Summary

Ignitis Group is establishing a new unified Group Supply Chain & Procurement function and we are looking for the leader to build it. This is a rare opportunity to architect a group-wide operating model from the ground up building a function that spans the full procurement and supply chain agenda across our international portfolio.

You will report at group level and work closely with business units shared services and group functions. Your mandate: lead a differentiated supply-chain model a centralised public procurement function operating alongside a commercial procurement model with clear rules data visibility and group-wide reporting enabling cost efficiency supply resilience ESG compliance and regulatory integrity at scale.


You will contribute to green and secure energy ecosystem creation by:

  • Strategy and policy ownership. Defining and driving the group-wide supply chain and procurement strategy policies and standards with full accountability for implementation across all business units covering both public procurement obligations and commercial procurement.
  • Function architecture and operating model leadership. Building end-to-end operating model design at the Group level incorporating two distinct models: a fully centralised public procurement centre of excellence and a commercial procurement model where strategy standards and reporting are set centrally while business units retain operational flexibility. Establishing clear decision rights spend visibility and consistent methodology across both.
  • Strategic sourcing.  Leading category strategy development across key spend areas defining sourcing approaches consolidating demand and driving best value through structured market engagement competitive processes and long-term contracting models.
  • Strategic partnership development and management. Building and governing the group strategic supplier ecosystem segmenting suppliers by importance and risk managing top-tier supplier relationships as business-critical partnerships and driving consistent performance ESG and compliance standards across the supply base.
  • Group-wide contract management. Owning the group-wide contract management process establishing governance. Building a coherent group-level framework while navigating varying practices and systems across business units.
  • Risk management. Managing group supplier ecosystem and supply chain risks spanning geopolitical exposure cybersecurity ESG obligations sanctions compliance and health & safety to maintain supply continuity under any conditions.
  • ESG and regulatory compliance. Embedding ESG requirements including CSRD and CSDDD obligations into procurement at every stage: requirement definition tender design supplier selection and contract monitoring. Ensuring sanctions screening protocols are consistently applied across the group.
  • Digitalisation & analytics. Leading the development of the groups central procurement IT system and leveraging analytics and automation to improve spend visibility process transparency and transformation outcomes.
  • External representation. Representing Ignitis Group with public authorities regulators and industry bodies protecting group interests and maintaining its standing as a responsible market participant.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree or higher in supply chain business engineering law or similar.
  • At least 5 years of progressive procurement or supply chain experience in a senior leadership role at group or large multi-entity organisation level.
  • Proven experience building or transforming a procurement or supply chain function.
  • Strong track record of driving change through cross-functional coordination in a complex multi-stakeholder environment.
  • Solid knowledge of public procurement legislation (Lithuanian and/or EU framework) alongside commercial procurement practices.
  • Deep understanding of ESG integration in procurement including CSRD and CSDDD and experience with sanctions compliance in a procurement context.
  • Proven ability to design and implement contract management frameworks at scale including IT-system governance.
  • Proficiency in procurement IT systems and analytics; experience co-owning a system implementation is an advantage.
  • Fluency in English written and spoken.
  • Willingness to be based in Vilnius Lithuania full relocation support included.
