Director of Engineering

• Lead and manage all engineering and maintenance operations of the hotel.
• Develop and implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs for all hotel facilities and equipment.
• Ensure the efficient operation of HVAC electrical mechanical plumbing fire and life safety systems.
• Maintain compliance with local regulations health safety environmental and quality standards.
• Plan manage and oversee renovation projects and capital expenditure (CAPEX) initiatives.
• Monitor utility consumption and implement energy conservation and sustainability initiatives.
• Prepare and manage the departmental budget forecasts and maintenance expenses.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with contractors suppliers and regulatory authorities.
• Ensure timely resolution of maintenance requests to support smooth hotel operations.
• Lead coach and develop the Engineering team while fostering a culture of safety accountability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications :

• Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Electrical Civil or a related field).
• Professional engineering certification or membership is an advantage.
• Minimum 810 years of progressive engineering experience including at least 2 years in a senior leadership role within the hospitality industry.
• Previous experience with Accor or an international hotel brand is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of hotel building systems preventive maintenance CAPEX planning energy management fire and life safety systems and local regulatory requirements.
• Excellent leadership project management analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office applications.
