Job Summary

Our client is a well-established facilities management company operating across the United States seeking a highly motivated results-driven and strategic Business Development & Operations Manager with a strong background in the US facilities management market. The ideal candidate will combine commercial acumen with operational excellence to drive business growth strengthen client relationships and ensure seamless service delivery across all facilities management functions within the US market.

Roles and Responsibilities

Business Development & Client Management

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the US facilities management sector developing a robust pipeline of prospective clients and strategic partnerships across multiple states.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key US-based accounts fostering strong long-term client relationships while consistently ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to grow revenue across the US market identify service expansion opportunities and track key performance metrics.
  • Drive contract renewals service upsells and cross-sell initiatives by preparing compelling proposals supporting negotiations and successfully closing agreements with US-based clients.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis of the US facilities management landscape covering customer needs competitor activity and market dynamics to inform and shape business development strategies.
  • Lead a seamless client onboarding process by establishing transparent operating models introducing key team members and aligning expectations on both client and internal sides.

Operations & Project Management

  • Oversee facilities management projects end-to-end across multiple US states coordinating internal teams communicating progress to stakeholders removing operational hurdles and adjusting plans as needed to ensure timely and quality delivery.
  • Manage budgets ensure accurate billing and continuously monitor profitability while delivering cost-effective service solutions tailored to the US market.
  • Resolve client issues and escalations promptly by collaborating cross-functionally and ensuring high levels of satisfaction at all times.
  • Build and manage vendor relationships across the US optimizing workflow processes and ensuring full compliance with US safety regulations and state-specific regulatory standards.
  • Deliver weekly account service and performance reports to senior management providing clear insights and actionable recommendations.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across US operations to enhance efficiency reduce costs and elevate service quality.

Requirements

  • 5 years of proven experience in business development and operations management within the US facilities management industry this is a mandatory requirement.
  • Demonstrated track record in building and maintaining positive B2B client relationships with US-based clients in the facilities management or related commercial services sector.
  • Proven ability to achieve and exceed revenue profitability and business growth targets across multiple US states.
  • Strong knowledge of the US facilities management market including industry regulations compliance standards and competitive landscape.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to inspire and enable internal teams to maximize their potential.
  • Solid experience in US-based vendor management procurement and supply chain coordination within a facilities management environment.
  • Familiarity with US state-specific safety labor and regulatory compliance requirements in the facilities management sector.
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving planning and scaling operations across the US.
  • Passionate about continuous improvement and committed to delivering efficient cost-effective and timely facilities management solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal negotiation and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English is a must.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and CRM reporting systems is a plus.
