FIELD MAINTENANCE ENGINEER (FMD) | IGNITIS RENEWABLES

Were hiring a Field Maintenance Engineer (2 vacancies) for newly developed project in Stelpe (Rigas office). Youll maintain and repair solar wind and energy systems including electrical and mechanical equipment. Join Ignitis Renewables Latvia team!

You will contribute to a secure and green energy ecosystem by:

• Operation and maintenance of electrical equipment including inverters photovoltaic (PV) modules cables and connections transformer substations distribution and communication cabinets communication systems and battery systems.
• Maintenance and servicing of solar PV plant infrastructure and other engineering utility systems.
• Maintaining and keeping up to date the site operation and maintenance documentation.
• Managing contractor activities and coordinating works related to roads vegetation/grass cutting and perimeter fencing.
• Performing planned and emergency repair works on low-voltage (LV) and medium-voltage (MV) electrical equipment up to 20 kV.

Qualifications :

• Secondary vocational or higher education in Electrical Engineering Power Engineering Energy Engineering or a related technical field.
• Knowledge of electrical equipment and components control systems and electrical safety requirements.
• Knowledge of applicable Latvian national regulations and safety requirements including Cabinet of Ministers Regulations (MK Regulations) and Latvian Standards (LVS).
• At least Electrical Safety Qualification Group B.
• Valid Category B driving licence.
• Latvian language proficiency of at least B1 level and English language proficiency at A2/B1 level.
• Preference will be given to candidates with practical experience in:
  • renewable energy systems including wind solar PV or battery energy storage systems (BESS);
  • medium-voltage electrical systems up to 35 kV.
• Ability to work regular working hours combined with scheduled on-call duties to respond to emergency situations.

• The monthly salary for this position group ranges from 1950 to 2260 EUR gross with potential for over 20% higher earnings (up to 2712 EUR gross) through shift-related compensation;
