Job Summary

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to provide high-quality education and support to children aged 57. The successful candidate will create engaging lessons support pupils academic and personal development and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons appropriate for KS1 pupils.
  • Teach core subjects including English Mathematics and Science.
  • Develop pupils reading writing numeracy and communication skills.
  • Assess and monitor pupils progress and provide appropriate feedback.
  • Create a safe supportive and positive classroom environment.
  • Encourage childrens confidence creativity independence and participation.
  • Manage classroom behavior using positive and effective strategies.
  • Identify pupils who may require additional educational support.
  • Work closely with parents colleagues and school leadership.
  • Maintain accurate records of pupils learning and development.
  • Participate in school activities meetings and professional development.
Requirements
  • Recognized teaching qualification; QTS or equivalent is preferred.
  • Previous experience teaching primary/KS1 pupils is an advantage.
  • Good knowledge of the UK Primary Curriculum is preferred.
  • Strong communication and classroom-management skills.
  • Patience creativity and enthusiasm for working with young children.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a teaching team.
