Rig Electrician Deep Drilling

We are seekingRigElectriciansfor deep drilling onshore rigs for our client in Kuwait.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install new electrical equipment and systems as required ensuring that installations are done in accordance with technical specifications and safety regulations.
• Run electrical wiring and conduit install circuit breakers panels and other electrical infrastructure as needed.
• Test new installations to ensure proper operation and safety.
• Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems.
  
• Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and develop preventative maintenance plans.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure electrical systems are integrated seamlessly.
• Maintain accurate records of electrical work and inspections.
• Comply with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety among the team.
• Respond to electrical emergencies such as power outages or equipment failures and take appropriate action to restore power and ensure safety.
• Participate in emergency drills and ensure readiness to address electrical issues in emergency situations.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technological advancements.
  
• Maintain an adequate supply of parts for emergency repairs.
• Monitor the operational performance of the Companys equipment. Identify areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent and additional relevant electrical certifications or licenses.
  
• Experience of 3years as an Electrician in deep drillingland rigs is required.
• Candidates from Canada United States Europe Eastern Europe Australia China are preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems wiring and equipment used in industrial or oil and gas settings.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical issues.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments.
