Job Summary
We are seekingRigElectriciansfor deep drilling onshore rigs for our client in Kuwait.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install new electrical equipment and systems as required ensuring that installations are done in accordance with technical specifications and safety regulations.
- Run electrical wiring and conduit install circuit breakers panels and other electrical infrastructure as needed.
- Test new installations to ensure proper operation and safety.
- Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and develop preventative maintenance plans.
- Troubleshoot electrical problems and implement effective solutions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure electrical systems are integrated seamlessly.
- Maintain accurate records of electrical work and inspections.
- Comply with safety regulations and promote a culture of safety among the team.
- Respond to electrical emergencies such as power outages or equipment failures and take appropriate action to restore power and ensure safety.
- Participate in emergency drills and ensure readiness to address electrical issues in emergency situations.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technological advancements.
- Maintain an adequate supply of parts for emergency repairs.
- Monitor the operational performance of the Companys equipment. Identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent and additional relevant electrical certifications or licenses.
- Experience of 3years as an Electrician in deep drillingland rigs is required.
- Candidates from Canada United States Europe Eastern Europe Australia China are preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems wiring and equipment used in industrial or oil and gas settings.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing electrical issues.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments.
