Job Summary

CZAR Fragrances is looking for an organized and people-oriented HR Assistant to support our Human Resources team in Kuwait City. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their HR career to gain hands-on experience across the full employee lifecycle while supporting day-to-day HR operations.

Key responsibilities:
- Support the end-to-end recruitment process: posting jobs screening CVs scheduling interviews and coordinating with candidates.
- Assist with onboarding of new hires including paperwork induction and setting up employee records.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee files and HR databases.
- Help administer attendance leave records and timekeeping.
- Support payroll preparation by collecting and verifying relevant employee data.
- Assist with employee relations engagement activities and internal communications.
- Help ensure HR practices comply with Kuwaiti labour law and company policies.
- Respond to routine employee queries and escalate issues as needed.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department.

Requirements
- Bachelors degree or diploma in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in an HR administrative or coordinator role (HR internship experience is acceptable).
- Familiarity with HR processes such as recruitment onboarding and record-keeping.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word Excel Outlook); experience with HRIS is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic understanding of Kuwaiti labour law is an advantage.
- Fluency in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.

Required Skills:

- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or a related field; professional certification (CPA ACCA CMA or CA) is strongly preferred. - Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience ideally within retail consumer goods or manufacturing. - Strong working knowledge of IFRS and full-cycle accounting. - Hands-on experience with accounting/ERP systems (e.g. Zoho Books QuickBooks SAP or Oracle). - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. - Solid understanding of Kuwaiti tax Zakat and statutory compliance requirements. - Strong analytical skills attention to detail and a high level of accuracy. - Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines. - Fluency in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
