Job Summary
We are currently hiring for the position of Design Engineer LV & MV Switchgear for one of our clients in Kuwait.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop LV & MV switchgear panels in compliance with IEC/BS standards.
- Prepare General Arrangement (GA) drawings Single Line Diagrams (SLD) wiring diagrams and Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Coordinate closely with production procurement and project teams for smooth execution.
- Ensure all designs meet client specifications and project requirements.
- Provide support during testing FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and preparation of technical documentation.
Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in LV & MV Switchgear design is mandatory.
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or EPLAN.
- Good understanding of LV & MV switchgear components and panel design.
- Sound knowledge of IEC standards and electrical engineering practices.
- Ability to perform technical calculations and component selection.
- Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
Candidates with hands-on switchgear industry experience and immediate availability will be preferred.
