We are Sisco Jobs a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Control Room Engineer in Kuwait. Our client is a reputed organization in the Power Generation & Energy sector seeking skilled and motivated professionals. If you meet the requirements below apply early as positions are limited.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and control 50 MW Gas Turbine Unit operations from the control room.
- Ensure safe efficient and uninterrupted power generation.
- Monitor plant parameters using DCS/SCADA systems.
- Coordinate start-up shutdown and emergency operations.
- Identify operational abnormalities and initiate corrective actions.
- Maintain operational logs and prepare shift reports.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams during planned and breakdown maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with plant safety and operational procedures.
Required Skills
- Gas Turbine Unit Operation (50 MW) Strong operational knowledge.
- Control Room Operations Real-time monitoring and control.
- DCS/SCADA Systems Plant monitoring and diagnostics.
- Power Plant Troubleshooting Fault identification and corrective action.
- Safety & Operational Compliance Adherence to HSE standards.
Preferred Skills
- Combined Cycle Power Plant experience.
- Leadership in shift operations.
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
Work Experience Requirements
Minimum 10 years of experience in Gas Turbine Power Plant operations with hands-on experience operating a 50 MW Gas Turbine Unit from the control room. Experience in large-scale thermal or combined cycle power plants is preferred.
Education
- Minimum: B.E.
- Preferred: Bachelors in Mechanical/Electrical/Power Engineering
- Additional Certifications: Power Plant Operations HSE Certification (if available)
Required Skills:
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the UPS Systems or Power Electronics industry. Proficiency in handling UPS systems battery chargers telecom rectifiers battery systems and automatic power factor correction panels. Strong understanding of electrical/electronic principles and components. Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams blueprints and schematics. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. Effective communication skills both verbal and written. Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and accuracy.
Required Education:
Diploma/BE/BTech in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field.
