Job Summary:
The Car Electrician is responsible for diagnosing repairing installing and maintaining a vehicles electrical and electronic systems. The role involves identifying electrical faults and ensuring that all electrical components operate safely and efficiently.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair vehicle electrical and electronic problems.
• Inspect and maintain wiring batteries alternators starters and electrical connections.
• Install and repair lighting systems switches sensors and electrical accessories.
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify electrical faults.
• Repair or replace damaged wiring fuses relays and electrical components.
• Troubleshoot starting charging and ignition system issues.
• Install vehicle accessories such as alarms cameras audio systems and other electrical equipment.
• Perform regular electrical inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure all repairs are completed according to safety and quality standards.
• Maintain tools equipment and a clean and organized work area.
• Prepare basic reports or records of completed repairs and identified issues.
• Follow company safety procedures and automotive electrical standards.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Car Electrician or Automotive Electrician.
• Knowledge of vehicle electrical and electronic systems.
• Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams.
• Experience using automotive diagnostic tools.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant technical training or certification is an advantage.
