Job Overview:

As a Barista you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing coffee beverages for our customers. You will also be responsible for providing excellent customer service maintaining a clean and organized workspace and assisting with inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages including espresso cappuccinos lattes and more
• Ensure all drinks are made to the highest quality standards and according to customer preferences
• Greet and interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
• Educate customers on our coffee offerings and make recommendations based on their preferences
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace including restocking supplies and cleaning equipment
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently using our POS system
• Assist with inventory management including restocking supplies and monitoring stock levels
• Follow all health and safety guidelines and procedures
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow
• Continuously strive to improve skills and knowledge of coffee and customer service

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role
• Knowledge of different coffee brewing techniques and latte art
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks at once
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Basic math and computer skills
• Knowledge of POS systems is a plus
• Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds
