AP Biology Teacher

TITLE:
AP BIOLOGY TEACHER

REPORTS TO: PRINCIPAL

Primary Purpose:

The American Baccalaureate School (ABS) is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Middle/High School Science Teacher for an immediate start. The teacher will inspire students in grades 612 through engaging lessons hands-on experiments and a strong college-preparatory curriculum.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver lessons aligned with ABS curriculum and learning objectives.
• Foster curiosity collaboration and critical thinking in the classroom.
• Differentiate instruction to support students of varying abilities.
• Design and assess labs projects and assignments with timely feedback.
  
• Maintain accurate student progress records and communicate regularly with parents.
  
• Ensure safe use of laboratory equipment and conduct risk assessments for experiments.
  
• Participate in departmental meetings professional development and school initiatives

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Science or related field (Masters preferred).
  
• Valid teaching license/certification.
  
• Minimum 2 years of successful science teaching experience.
  
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  
• Commitment to ABSs mission of preparing responsible global citizens.
