Job Summary
Our client a leading vertically integrated textile solutions provider based in Ruiru Kenya. They are seeking a dynamic proactive and results-driven professional to join our team as a Transport & Security Officer.
The Transport & Security Officer will provide leadership and oversight of the Companys security operations and fleet management functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for safeguarding company assets ensuring efficient transport operations managing security risks and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures.
- Conduct security risk assessments and vulnerability analyses.
- Supervise security personnel and ensure effective deployment.
- Lead investigations and recommend corrective actions.
- Oversee CCTV reviews and incident reporting.
- Oversee fleet maintenance inspections and compliance.
- Monitor vehicle utilization fuel efficiency and driver conduct.
- Ensure all company vehicles remain roadworthy.
- Liaise with NTSA insurers and other regulatory authorities.
- Lead and mentor security and transport teams.
- Drive continuous improvement and system enhancements.
- Coordinate staff training and development initiatives.
- Foster a culture of accountability professionalism and teamwork.
- Build and maintain relationships with government agencies law enforcement and transport authorities.
- Coordinate approved Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives.
- Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Fleet Management Criminal Investigation or a related field.
- Strong understanding of security operations and fleet management.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

Required Skills:
Bachelors degree or diploma in Sales & Marketing Business Administration or related field. 25 years of sales experience in B2B distribution or consumer goods industries. Knowledge of textile fashion or manufacturing sectors is an added advantage. Must be willing to travel frequently within assigned regions.
