Our client is seeking a highly motivated and commercially driven Technical Sales Professional to support a strategic business transformation initiative within its LPG business. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving business development for LPG engineering solutions with a strong focus on school LPG conversion projects and Commercial & Industrial (C&I) LPG installations and maintenance.
This is an initial 6-month contract intended as a trial engagement with performance reviewed at the end of the contract to determine future resourcing needs.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development
Identify prospect and develop new business opportunities for LPG engineering solutions.
Drive sales of LPG conversion projects for educational institutions particularly private schools.
Generate new Commercial & Industrial (C&I) LPG installation and maintenance business.
Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve agreed revenue and growth targets.
Build and maintain a healthy sales pipeline through proactive prospecting and networking.
Client Relationship Management
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
Conduct client meetings site visits and technical presentations.
Understand customer operational requirements and recommend suitable LPG solutions.
Prepare commercial proposals quotations and tender responses.
Negotiate contracts and close sales opportunities.
Market Development
Identify market trends competitor activities and emerging customer needs.
Collaborate with internal engineering and operations teams to develop customer solutions.
Represent the company during client meetings industry events and stakeholder engagements.
Reporting
Maintain accurate sales forecasts and pipeline reports.
Track sales activities using CRM and provide regular business development updates.
Prepare periodic performance reports for management.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
New business generated.
Number of qualified leads and opportunities created.
Revenue achieved against sales targets.
Number of LPG conversion projects secured.
Commercial & Industrial LPG projects won.
Client acquisition and retention.

Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Engineering Business Marketing or a related field.
Technical sales training or commercial certifications will be an added advantage.
Experience
Minimum 5 years proven experience in technical sales or business development.
Experience selling engineering energy industrial construction or technical solutions.
Experience engaging institutional clients particularly private schools is highly desirable.
Experience within the LPG energy engineering or industrial sector will be a distinct advantage.
