Job Summary
Are you an Electrical or Mechanical Engineer with experience in procurement and supplier sourcing Join a fast-growing UK-based electrical distribution company and play a key role in sourcing electrical products negotiating with suppliers and supporting a dynamic supply chain operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Source and onboard local and international suppliers of electrical products.
- Negotiate pricing payment terms and delivery schedules.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative sourcing options.
- Manage procurement activities and supplier performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely product availability.
- Prepare sourcing and supplier performance reports.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 23 years experience in procurement sourcing or supply chain within the electrical engineering or utilities sector.
- Strong understanding of electrical products such as LV/HV cables jointing kits ducting tools and related materials.
- Experience negotiating with suppliers and managing procurement processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience working with international suppliers is an added advantage.
