Job Summary
- Conduct major repairs and rebuilds of diesel engines transmissions and hydraulic pumps for heavy equipment such as backhoes and wheel loaders.
- Plan and execute comprehensive maintenance schedules including routine servicing lubrication and safety inspections to prevent breakdowns.
- Cleaning lubricating and conducting routine services on heavy-duty vehicles and machine attachments such as hydraulic horse pipes blades and side booms.
- Inspect engines gearboxes hydraulics electrical systems tyres and frames.
- Monitoring equipment performance and troubleshooting mechanical hydraulic and electrical faults.
- Keep accurate maintenance records including up-to-date tyre register.
- Apply technical knowledge and cost-awareness to improve workshop efficiency and reliability.
- Monitor materials and supplies required for machine operation.
- Suggest and implement improvements to enhance machine performance productivity and safety.
Requirements
- Diploma in construction plant mechanics automotive engineering or related field from a recognized institution. Government Trade Test (GTT) certification is a strong advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience working as a diesel or heavy equipment mechanic.
- Mechanical aptitude attention to detail and ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
- Reliable team-oriented and able to work independently
Required Skills:
Minimum 8 years of experience in HVAC engineering Strong knowledge of technical engineering estimation and operational works Hands-on experience with: VRF Systems Chilled Water Systems Good understanding of HVAC project execution and site coordination Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities Candidates available for immediate joining will be preferred
