Job Summary
- Identify and approach potential industrial customers across Kenya.
- Visit factories manufacturers institutions contractors and process plants to introduce the companys products and services.
- Follow up with procurement departments to register the company as an approved supplier.
- Look for MRO sales opportunities involving industrial spares valves machine products fittings and related engineering items.
- Build relationships with procurement officers maintenance managers engineers and operations teams.
- Generate RFQs and follow up quotations until purchase order stage.
- Update customer contacts visits enquiries opportunities and follow-ups in the CRM.
- Prepare weekly reports on customer visits supplier registrations RFQs quotations and sales pipeline.
- Travel within Nairobi and across Kenya to look for business opportunities.
Requirements
- Diploma or degree in Sales Marketing Business Engineering Procurement or a related field.
- Previous experience in sales business development procurement support customer service or industrial products will be an added advantage.
- Experience selling to factories manufacturers contractors institutions or process plants is highly preferred.
- Must be confident in approaching new customers and making field visits.
- Good communication follow-up and reporting skills.
- Basic computer skills including email Excel and CRM/data entry.
- Willingness to travel around Kenya for business development.
- Ability to work independently and meet targets.
Required Skills:
Minimum 8 years of experience in HVAC engineering Strong knowledge of technical engineering estimation and operational works Hands-on experience with: VRF Systems Chilled Water Systems Good understanding of HVAC project execution and site coordination Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and handle multiple responsibilities Candidates available for immediate joining will be preferred
