Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda Kenya Tanzania Rwanda and South Sudan.
On behalf of our client we are looking for a competent skilled and experienced Machine Operator Inks & Chemicals Department to work in Kenya.
Job Purpose
To produce offset inks and chemicals as per production requirements ensuring accurate completion of production orders within set timelines while maintaining quality safety and housekeeping standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Production Operations
Produce offset inks and chemicals in line with production requirements.
Ensure production orders are completed accurately and within set timelines.
Ensure correct weighing labelling packaging and storage of finished products.
Monitor production materials and concentrates and update bin cards accordingly.
2. Machine Operation & Maintenance
Operate and maintain production machines and report technical faults promptly.
Assist in operating and maintaining the effluent treatment area.
3. Quality Control
Conduct colour matching and ensure products meet required quality standards.
Work closely with Production and Sales teams.
4. Housekeeping & Safety
Maintain proper housekeeping and safety standards within the production area.
Handle urgent production orders and ensure timely completion.
Education
Diploma in Printing Technology.
Experience
Minimum of 3 years experience in ink and chemical production.
Experience in ink production and color matching is highly preferred.
Core Competencies
Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure and meet production deadlines.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Knowledge of health safety and environmental requirements in a manufacturing environment.
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic.
