Job Summary

Summary:
The Project Manager plays a pivotal role in the successful delivery of construction projects from inception to completion. This position is responsible for overseeing all aspects of project execution including planning scheduling budgeting resource allocation and stakeholder coordination. Operating within a dynamic and fast-paced construction environment the Project Manager ensures that all projects are delivered on time within budget and to the highest standards of quality safety and compliance. With 5 years of progressive experience in construction project management the ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven track record in managing complex building projects leading multidisciplinary teams and driving operational efficiency. This role is critical to maintaining the companys reputation for excellence client satisfaction and sustainable growth in the construction sector.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the end-to-end management of construction projects including planning execution monitoring and closure.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules budgets and resource plans ensuring alignment with client requirements and organizational goals.
  • Coordinate with architects engineers contractors suppliers and regulatory authorities to ensure seamless project delivery.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews to monitor quality safety and adherence to design specifications.
  • Manage project risks proactively identifying potential issues and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize delays and cost overruns.
  • Prepare and present project reports financial summaries and performance metrics to senior management and clients.
  • Ensure strict compliance with local building codes health and safety regulations and environmental standards.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients subcontractors and internal teams to promote collaboration and accountability.
  • Lead and mentor project team members including site supervisors and junior project staff to enhance team performance and development.
  • Utilize project management software (e.g. MS Project StruMIS or Zoho) to track progress manage documentation and support decision-making.


Requirements
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management Building Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in construction project management preferably in commercial or residential building projects.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing projects from concept to completion within budget and on schedule.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies materials and industry standards (e.g. ISO OSHA local building regulations).
  • Proficient in project management tools and software (e.g. MS Project AutoCAD StruMIS or Zoho).
  • Excellent leadership communication and negotiation skills with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work under pressure manage multiple priorities and make timely data-driven decisions.
  • Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to project sites across the region.
  • Experience with contract administration change order management and claims resolution is highly desirable.
Compensation (NET PAY): KSHSper month commensurate with experience and performance.
