Job Summary
- Lead the end-to-end management of construction projects including planning execution monitoring and closure.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules budgets and resource plans ensuring alignment with client requirements and organizational goals.
- Coordinate with architects engineers contractors suppliers and regulatory authorities to ensure seamless project delivery.
- Conduct regular site inspections and progress reviews to monitor quality safety and adherence to design specifications.
- Manage project risks proactively identifying potential issues and implementing mitigation strategies to minimize delays and cost overruns.
- Prepare and present project reports financial summaries and performance metrics to senior management and clients.
- Ensure strict compliance with local building codes health and safety regulations and environmental standards.
- Foster strong relationships with clients subcontractors and internal teams to promote collaboration and accountability.
- Lead and mentor project team members including site supervisors and junior project staff to enhance team performance and development.
- Utilize project management software (e.g. MS Project StruMIS or Zoho) to track progress manage documentation and support decision-making.
- Diploma or Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Construction Management Building Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in construction project management preferably in commercial or residential building projects.
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects from concept to completion within budget and on schedule.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies materials and industry standards (e.g. ISO OSHA local building regulations).
- Proficient in project management tools and software (e.g. MS Project AutoCAD StruMIS or Zoho).
- Excellent leadership communication and negotiation skills with the ability to manage diverse stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure manage multiple priorities and make timely data-driven decisions.
- Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to project sites across the region.
- Experience with contract administration change order management and claims resolution is highly desirable.
