Profile Introduction
Our client a leading company in the Oil and Gas sector is seeking for a Project Engineer who
will be responsible for ensuring that all company equipment and facilities are available in good
and safe working conditions in line with the company group and statutory HSEQ requirements
ensuring that all third-party works meets company norms HSEQ standards and are in line with
agreed scope quality and specification and ensuring that all projects are completed in time and
within agreed budget and specifications.

Key Responsibilities
HSSEQ
- Participating in training of Contractors on HSSEQ issues e.g. Work Site Safety Training to improve safety.
- Ensuring all company installations are done within the group company and statutory standards
- Facilitating implementation and maintenance of certifications like ISSSRS and improvements resulting from Internal Audits EDOC TRA and SafetyTours Audits.
PROJECTS
- Carrying out initial designs preparing scope/specifications tender documents and ensuring timely implementation of allocated projects within the agreed scope time and budget.
- Overseeing implementation of projects as per the procedures in place and to achieve the stated objectives.
- Assisting in continuous value engineering to improve the value derived from both Projects and Maintenance programs.
MAINTENANCE
- Supporting implementation of Preventive Corrective and Predictive maintenance for all facilities and equipment.
- Checking that the maintenance programs in place meet company requirements through review of key Performance Indicators KPIs of the various maintenance schedules.
- Ensuring continuous improvement of maintenance of equipment and facilities
Requirements
- Bachelor Degree in Civil /Mechanical /Electrical Engineering
- At least five (5) years experience in project management and design on engineering processes
- Knowledge of Technical & HSE Standards for Petroleum Sites
- Good analytical and supervisory skills
- High level of integrity and ability to work within strict deadlines
Required Skills:
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Diploma in Record keeping or Inventory Management or an equivalent field / Certificate with relevant experience At least 1 years experience in store management or recording keeping; Conversant with MS Excel and MS Word programs
