Your Mission
You will support and optimize procurement operations in Kenya. Your goal is to align activities with global standards while enhancing cost efficiency supplier performance compliance and import/export effectiveness.
What You Do
Align procurement activities with global strategy policies and procedures.
Source raw materials locally and internationally in a cost-efficient manner.
Create manage and track purchase orders to ensure timely delivery.
Oversee import/export processes including documentation and regulatory compliance.
Coordinate with freight forwarders clearing agents and government authorities.
Maintain and update the supplier database in line with vendor management standards.
Support supplier performance evaluations audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with food safety quality and sustainability standards.
Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with planning teams to prevent stock disruptions.
Prepare procurement reports and provide actionable insights for decision-making.
What We Expect from You
Bachelors degree in Procurement Supply Chain Management or a related field.
23 years of professional experience in procurement and supply chain operations.
Proven experience in import/export operations and local sourcing.
Solid understanding of international trade regulations and Kenyan customs procedures.
Professional certification (CIPS CPSP-K) or KISM membership is an added advantage.
Excellent written and spoken English.
