Multimedia Journalism & Digital Content Intern (UlizaLinks Media)

At UlizaLinks Media we are building a bold and fast-growing digital media platform focused on news storytelling and engaging content across Kenya and beyond. We are looking for a passionate creative and self-driven Multimedia Journalism & Digital Content Intern ready to gain real hands-on experience in the media industry.

This is not a sit-back internship you will be actively involved in content creation reporting and building a media brand.

• Research write and publish articles on across:
  • Politics
    
  • Entertainment
    
  • Business
    
  • General news
    
• Create and design social media content (posters reels short videos) using Canva CapCut Adobe or similar tools
  
• Assist in managing and posting content across social media platforms
  
• Conduct on-ground interviews and assist in field reporting
  
• Support in planning recording and editing podcasts and interviews
  
• Participate in on-camera presentations (news snippets interviews content pieces)
  
• Assist in basic camera setup and production
  
• Contribute ideas for trending and engaging content
  

• Pursuing or recently completed a course in Journalism Mass Communication Media or related field
  
• Strong interest in media storytelling and digital content
  
• Basic writing skills and willingness to learn
  
• Interest in social media content creation
  
• Confidence (or willingness to grow) in appearing on camera
  
• Self-driven disciplined and eager to learn
  

• Hands-on experience in a real media environment
  
• Opportunity to build a strong portfolio (articles videos interviews podcasts)
  
• Exposure to digital media tools and content strategy
