Position Title: Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Job Purpose
The Mechanical Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining servicing and repairing mechanical equipment and production machinery to ensure optimal performance minimal downtime and smooth production operations within a fast-paced FMCG manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production machinery
Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns and ensure timely repairs
Inspect equipment to identify faults and recommend improvements
Support installation and commissioning of new machinery
Maintain maintenance records and service reports
Ensure adherence to safety and hygiene standards in the production environment
Work closely with production teams to minimize downtime

Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related field
23 years experience in maintenance within FMCG
Must have worked in flour milling bakery bread production industry
Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills
Ability to work in shifts and under pressure
