Job Summary
- CNC laser cutting machine operation and set-up.
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- CNC programming and parameter adjustment where applicable.
- Machine calibration and preventive maintenance.
- Quality control and dimensional inspection.
- Knowledge of nesting software and material-utilisation optimisation.
- Knowledge of workplace safety PPE and safe machine operation.
- Teamwork and collaboration.
Requirements
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Production Option).
- At least 23 years experience operating a CNC laser cutting machine in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in CNC programming and machine set-up is an added advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with CNC control systems.
