Job Summary
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science MIS Engineering or a related field.
- 710 years of relevant infrastructure experience.
- Advanced knowledge of Linux Servers Windows Servers databases and networking technologies.
- Experience with configuration management and automation tools such as Puppet Chef and Ansible.
- Experience with Docker CE Docker Data Center or equivalent container platforms.
- Design-level experience with SaaS operating platforms.
- Strong knowledge of VMware virtualization and cloud infrastructure in managed service environments.
- Strong scripting and automation skills.
- Experience troubleshooting network connectivity traffic utilization authentication SSL and application issues.
- Knowledge of patch management log analysis monitoring capacity planning and disaster recovery.
- Hands-on technical project management experience.
- Excellent troubleshooting research communication problem-solving and customer service skills.
- Flexibility to participate in on-call after-hours maintenance upgrades and troubleshooting when required.
- Experience with SOC 2 or equivalent compliance frameworks is highly preferred.
- Certifications such as RHCSA/RHCE MCSA/MCSE CCNA/CCNA Security or equivalent are highly desirable.
- Ensure the availability and optimal performance of hosting infrastructure across Linux Windows and cloud environments.
- Design implement document and support new infrastructure and hosted SaaS services.
- Diagnose and resolve full application stack issues including networking authentication SSL traffic and application debugging.
- Perform server administration including installation deployments patching upgrades log analysis and account/service configuration.
- Improve infrastructure automation and configuration management practices.
- Maintain documentation for servers network topology equipment and configurations.
- Develop test maintain and execute Disaster Recovery plans.
- Collaborate with hosting providers MSPs and third-party support teams.
- Perform capacity planning and define technical requirements for new server and networking infrastructure.
- Lead technical projects ensuring timelines and key deliverables are achieved.
- Support security compliance and continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Act as a technical lead and mentor to other team members.
