Job Summary
- Bachelors degree in Cyber Security IT or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience (4 years).
- Knowledge of network protocols operating systems applications and security technologies.
- Experience working with SIEM IDS/IPS and firewalls.
- Knowledge of threat monitoring incident response and vulnerability management.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and risk assessment skills.
- Strong communication organizational and collaboration skills.
- Experience with cloud security platforms such as AWS Azure or GCP.
- Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 NIST GDPR HIPAA or PCI-DSS.
- Scripting or automation experience with Python or PowerShell.
- Security CEH or equivalent cybersecurity certification.
- Monitor network traffic system logs endpoints and security alerts to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Investigate and respond to security incidents network intrusions data breaches and other security alerts.
- Review vulnerability assessments and support remediation and risk mitigation activities.
- Operate and monitor security tools such as SIEM IDS/IPS and firewalls.
- Create and manage cybersecurity tickets documentation procedures and reports.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams on security operations risk mitigation and system protection.
- Support compliance audits and communicate security concepts and best practices across teams.
