Job Summary
- Develop and maintain web applications using Laravel React and C#
- Design and optimize databases using MySQL and MongoDB
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features
- Write clean scalable and efficient code
- Debug troubleshoot and resolve software defects
- Participate in code reviews and follow industry best practices for development and security
- Continuously explore new technologies and improve development practices
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze software requirements.
- Design software architecture and create technical specifications based on the project needs.
- Develop software applications by writing clean maintainable and efficient code.
- Perform thorough testing and debugging of software to identify and resolve any defects or issues.
- Ensure software meets quality standards performance requirements and security guidelines.
- Participate in code reviews to provide and receive constructive feedback on code quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers designers and testersto ensure effective project execution.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies programming languages and industry trends.
- Provide support and maintenance for existing software applications as needed.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and best practices.
- Diploma or Bachelor degree in computer science software engineering Information Technology or a related field.
- Minimum of two (2) years experience in software development.
- Proven experience in software development with a strong understanding of software development life cycle.
- Proficiency in relevant programming languages and development frameworks.
- Experience with databases APIs and software development best practices will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrated experience designing developing and supporting complex software solutions.
- Proven experience with PHP Laravel C# React and
- Strong understanding of MySQL and MongoDB database design and management
- Familiarity with API development and integration
- Experience with version control tools like Git
- Experience with web development technologies (HTML CSS JavaScript frameworks) is a plus.
- Familiarity with relational databases and SQL queries.
- Knowledge of software testing and debugging techniques.
- Strong problem-solving and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- A portfolio of personal projects or previous work experience is highly desirable.
- Candidates must have remained with at least one employer for a minimum of two (2) consecutive years demonstrating stability and commitment in previous roles.
