Job Purpose
To support the growth and prestige of The Design Gallery by delivering exceptional client experiences and contributing to the strategy for our key accounts. This role is responsible for building profitable relationships with high-net-worth individuals developers and design professionals supporting the translation of their vision into reality and reinforcing The Design Gallerys position as the leader in luxury interiors and bespoke furniture.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Client Relationships and Portfolio Growth
- Conduct negotiations and support the closure of high-value contracts for bespoke furniture and interior design projects.
- Identify opportunities for account growth and new business development within the luxury residential and commercial sectors.
- Analyse client profitability and recommend refinements to service strategies to ensure mutually beneficial partnerships.
2. Sales Delivery and Revenue Contribution
- Manage the sales cycle for assigned projects from initial pitch and proposal development to final sign-off and project handover escalating complex matters to the Client Partner.
- Meet and exceed agreed personal sales targets directly contributing to the companys revenue goals.
- Represent The Design Gallery at industry events networking with potential clients to build a robust pipeline.
Prepare and present tailored brand presentations that support the winning of prestigious projects.
3. Project Support and Client Advocacy
- Act as a day-to-day client contact throughout the project lifecycle ensuring the clients vision is met at every stage.
- Coordinate client meetings and presentations supporting the management of client expectations.
- Track the project teams output checking that deliverables align with the clients brief and The Design Gallerys standards of excellence.
- Resolve routine project challenges and escalate complex issues promptly preserving and strengthening client relationships.
4. Collaboration and Teamwork
- Collaborate with the Assistant Relationship Manager and wider commercial team sharing information to enhance team capacity.
- Support seamless collaboration between the sales design and operations teams to ensure a unified and exceptional client journey.
- Share insights from client interactions to inform product development marketing strategies and operational improvements.
5. Market Intelligence and Brand Representation
- Represent The Design Gallerys brand in all interactions embodying our values of luxury creativity and integrity.
- Monitor market trends competitor strategies and client needs and report findings to the Client Partner.
- Provide feedback to the Client Partner on market opportunities and potential threats.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Academic
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Sales and Marketing Interior Design Architecture or any related field.
Professional
Sales key account management or client relationship certification will be an advantage.
Hands-on experience with CRM systems and collaboration tools such as Click Up or equivalent software used for pipeline tracking client records and reporting.
Working knowledge of proposal preparation quotation development and contract documentation.
Experience
1 to 3 years of experience in a client-facing sales account management or business development role ideally within luxury interiors high-end furniture architecture or a similar premium or project-based industry.
Demonstrated experience supporting a client portfolio and consistently meeting revenue targets.
Exposure to negotiating and closing contracts including preparing proposals and quotations.
Experience supporting clients through a full project cycle from pitch to handover. Experience working alongside design operations and installation teams on live projects.
Technical Competencies
Client relationship management and pipeline development.
Proposal quotation and presentation preparation.
Financial literacy sufficient to interpret account profitability margins and pricing.
CRM and project collaboration software proficiency.
Working knowledge of luxury interiors products materials and specification processes.
