Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and competent Human Resources Officer to support the effective delivery of the organisations human resource functions. The successful candidate will provide professional HR support across the employee lifecycle and ensure the effective implementation of HR policies procedures and best practices.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • HR Operations & Administration: Coordinate and support day-to-day HR operations and administrative activities.
  • Recruitment & Talent Acquisition: Support recruitment selection pre-employment screening and appointment processes.
  • Employee Onboarding & Offboarding: Coordinate employee onboarding induction separation clearance and exit processes.
  • Employee Records Management: Maintain accurate complete confidential and up-to-date employee records and personnel files.
  • Employee Relations: Support employee relations grievance handling employee communication and workplace engagement.
  • Disciplinary Management: Coordinate and support disciplinary and grievance management processes in accordance with company procedures and applicable labour laws.
  • Performance Management: Coordinate performance management appraisals KPI administration and performance improvement processes.
  • Learning & Development: Coordinate employee training development capacity-building initiatives and training records.
  • Payroll & Benefits Administration: Support payroll administration employee changes leave records benefits and related HR inputs.
  • Employee Engagement & Welfare: Coordinate employee engagement recognition wellness welfare and organizational culture initiatives.
  • HR Compliance & Policy Administration: Support compliance with employment laws HR policies procedures data protection requirements and statutory obligations.
  • HR Reporting & Analytics: Prepare and maintain HR reports employee statistics HR data and management information.
  • HR Registry & Document Management: Coordinate HR filing document control records retrieval and secure document management.
  • HR Audit & Risk Management: Support HR audits compliance reviews risk identification and implementation of corrective actions.
  • HR Projects & Process Improvement: Participate in HR projects process improvement initiatives and organizational development activities.
  • General HR Support: Provide HR advisory and administrative support to employees supervisors and management and undertake other duties as assigned.


Requirements
Job Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management Human Resources Industrial Relations Business Administration or a related field from a recognized institution.
  • Active membership with the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM) Kenya.
  • Professional training and/or certification in Human Resource Management Labour Relations Employment Law Performance Management or other relevant HR areas.
  • Working knowledge of Kenyan employment and labour laws HR policies and statutory requirements.
  • Good understanding of HR practices employee relations recruitment performance management and HR administration.
  • Strong communication interpersonal organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR information systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality integrity and professionalism when handling employee and organisational information.



Required Skills:
