Job Summary
The Hotel Sales Manager will be responsible for leading the hotels commercial strategy driving revenue growth and positioning the property as a leading destination for corporate events conferences workshops and bespoke experiences. The role requires a visionary leader who understands the luxury market builds strong B2B partnerships and drives consistent business from both local and international clients.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue across rooms conferences events and other hotel services.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the corporate MICE government and travel trade segments.
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients travel agencies destination management companies (DMCs) event planners and other key stakeholders.
Position the hotel as a preferred destination for conferences workshops executive meetings weddings and premium events.
Manage and grow a portfolio of key corporate accounts while acquiring new business opportunities.
Prepare and negotiate proposals contracts and commercial agreements with clients.
Collaborate with the Marketing Revenue Reservations and Operations teams to maximize occupancy and revenue.
Monitor market trends competitor activities and customer needs to identify growth opportunities.
Prepare sales forecasts pipeline reports budgets and performance reports for senior management.
Represent the hotel at networking events trade shows exhibitions and industry conferences.
Lead mentor and support the sales team to achieve individual and departmental objectives.
Foster a high-performance culture focused on customer satisfaction accountability and continuous improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Hospitality Management Marketing or a related field.
Minimum of 7 years experience in hotel sales with at least 3 years in a senior sales management role within a 4- or 5-star hotel.
Proven experience managing corporate accounts MICE business conferences and events sales.
Demonstrated track record of consistently achieving revenue growth and exceeding sales targets.
Strong network within the hospitality corporate travel and events industries.
Excellent negotiation communication presentation and relationship management skills.
Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyze market trends and develop effective sales strategies.
Experience leading mentoring and motivating high-performing sales teams.
