Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an exceptional Lodge General Manager for a luxury safari lodge in Kenya.

This role is suited to an experienced hospitality professional with a proven track record in luxury safari operations guest experience management team leadership and financial performance. The successful candidate will be passionate about conservation guest satisfaction and creating memorable safari experiences while leading a high-performing team in a remote wilderness environment.

Key Responsibilities

Lead all lodge operations to ensure exceptional guest experiences

Maintain and elevate luxury hospitality standards across all departments

Drive guest satisfaction through personalised hosting and service excellence

Manage departmental heads and provide strong leadership to the wider team

Oversee financial performance budgeting forecasting and cost control

Ensure effective stock management procurement and asset control

Monitor and improve operational efficiencies throughout the property

Maintain health safety and environmental standards

Support conservation and community initiatives where applicable

Build a positive culture focused on teamwork accountability and guest service

Manage staff training development and performance management processes

Ensure all lodge facilities are maintained to the highest standard

Handle guest feedback professionally and proactively

Requirements

Minimum 5 years experience in senior management roles within luxury safari lodges

Strong financial management and budgeting experience

Proven leadership and team development skills

Excellent guest relations and hosting abilities

High level of operational knowledge across different departments

Experience working in remote locations and multicultural environments

Strong administrative and reporting skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Passion for wildlife conservation and luxury safari tourism
