About the Role:
We are looking for a dynamic Front Office Cashier to be the welcoming face of our park.
As the Front Office Cashier you will set the tone for our guests visit. You will handle ticketers process sales transactions smoothly answer visitor inquiries and ensure every family and thrill-seeker starts their day with a warm welcome and a seamless entry.
Key Responsibilities:
a) Ticketing & Payments: Handle cash credit/debit card and mobile money (M-Pesa)
transactions accurately using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system for park entry passes combo
deals and special packages.
b) Guest Greeting & Assistance: Provide a warm friendly welcome to all park visitors. Answer
inquiries regarding ticket pricing ride safety rules park schedules and locker renting.
c)Cash Management: Reconcile daily float issue accurate receipts maintain cash registers and
conduct shift end-of-day float balancing without errors.
d) Access Control Support: Check guest tickets at entry point issue park wristbands and Locker
keys and assist in maintaining smooth traffic flow during peak hours.
e) Customer Inquiry & Dispute Handling: Calmly resolve guest queries or ticketing
discrepancies with professionalism escalating complex issues appropriately when necessary.
f) Administrative Support: Keep front-desk workstations clean organized and stocked with
promotional materials receipts and necessary operational supplies.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality Management Front Office Operations Business Administration or a related field.
Experience: 12 years of hands-on cashiering front desk or customer service experience (preferably in hospitality/amusement parks).
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Point-of-Sale (POS) software MS Office.
Numerical Ability: Excellent mental math and cash-handling skills with strict attention to detail.
Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal communication and multi-tasking skills with a high level of patience and a positive demeanour.
Flexibility: Ability to work on weekend rotas public holidays and during peak holiday/vacation seasons.
