Job Summary
This client is inviting applications for the position of Dispatch Officer. We are looking for a reliable organized and self-motivated individual to coordinate dispatch operations and ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time while supporting sourcing and processing activities as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Dispatch Coordination
Coordinate daily dispatch activities to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
Monitor vehicle loading and confirm that products are dispatched correctly.
Ensure all dispatched products match orders placed and meet company standards.
2. Documentation and Systems
Prepare and verify dispatch documentation including delivery notes and loading schedules.
Maintain accurate dispatch records and update the ERP system as required.
3. Sourcing and Processing Support
Support the sourcing team with product sourcing activities.
Assist with banana ripening and processing activities.
4. Coordination and Compliance
Liaise with warehouse personnel and other departments to ensure smooth dispatch operations.
Ensure compliance with company safety quality and operational procedures.
Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
Diploma or Degree in any field from a recognized institution.
23 years experience in a similar role.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
Knowledge of an ERP system is an added advantage.
Good communication planning and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Previous experience in dispatch warehouse or logistics operations is an added advantage.
Required Skills:
Diploma or Degree in any field from a recognized institution. 23 years experience in a similar role. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
